Chamber Group: 'Flautet' - Flute Quartet
The groups' repertoire ranges from Baroque, arrangements of opera favourites and pop classics, to evocative French impressionism and demanding works by contemporary composers. Flautet also actively combine their members eclectic musical tastes and backgrounds, and look to collaborate with young composers and other art forms to create an exciting new experience for the flute quartet genre.
Recent public performance venues include: St Alfege Church in Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Waltham Abbey, South Bank, Blackheath Halls and City hall.
Flautet is available to hire for any event; from weddings to cocktail parties, formal recitals, and educational workshops. Programmes can be adapted and tailored to suit the requirements of any occasion, and the group will even consider requests for arrangements of favoured pieces and songs. Every member of Flautet is an active developer of young talent; each teaching aspiring young musicians from beginner to post grade 8 levels in and outside of London.
